1.1  INTRODUCTION

This website is published and maintained by Quilligence, LLC ("Quilligence").  This privacy policy outlines how Quilligence (hereinafter, "Quilligence," "we," or "us") maintains, uses, and shares data that it may collect when you access http://www.quilligence.com (the "Website").  Quilligence does not collect, use, or disclose information about users of our Website except as outlined below.  This Privacy Policy is subject to Quilligence's Website Terms and Conditions located at http://www.quilligence.com/policy.  By using this Website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy as they may be amended from time to time.

This Privacy Policy does not govern information that you may provide to Quilligence, or that we may obtain, other than through our Website—such as by telephone, through mail, or through live and print media and other publications.

1.2  HOW WE COLLECT AND USE INFORMATION

1.2.1  Personal Information
If you visit our Website, we may collect certain information from you—some automatically and some that you opt to submit by e-mail or Website forms (such as your name, company name, e-mail address, or telephone number) for purposes such as making contact with us.

1.2.2  Communication
Should you choose to contact us through forms offered on the Website, or if you send us an inquiry through other means, we will use the personal information you send to us in order to respond to you.  We may also communicate with you further to send you information about services and information relating to Quilligence that we think you may be interested in receiving.

1.2.3.  Accounts and Registration
The Website does not include user registration and/or accounts pages.  If we do add this capability to the Website, you may be asked to submit personal information, which we would then use to fulfill your request.

1.2.4.  Visitors
With the exception of website logs, as outlined below, we do not generally collect personal information about you if you are simply visiting the Website and not contacting us or submitting an inquiry.

1.2.5.  Website Logs
When you access the Website, our servers automatically record certain information regarding your use.  As with other web services, our servers record data such as data displayed or clicked on (such as user interface elements, ads, and links), and other information (such as browser type, IP address, date and time of access, cookie ID, and referred URL).  In addition to cookies, we may opt to use third-party tracking technology to record similar data regarding you and your activity on the Website.

1.2.6.  Cookies
We may use cookies and similar technologies—such as pixel tags or web beacons—to help you view the Website and allow us to learn how you use the Website content, and to improve the Website.  Cookies are small files placed in your web browser to store user preferences.  They do not, by themselves, reveal personal information unless you opt to provide this information to us.  However, should you provide such personal information to the Website, this information may be linked to the information stored in the cookie.

1.2.7.  How the Information is Used
We use the information that we collect to measure the number of visitors to the different areas of our Website, and to help us make the Website more useful to visitors.  This includes analysis of website logs periodically to determine the traffic through our servers, the numbers of pages served, and the level of demand for pages and subjects of interest.

1.2.8.  How Long is the Information Retained
The logs may be preserved indefinitely and used at any time and in any way necessary to prevent breaches of security and ensure the integrity of the data on our servers.

1.2.9.  Third Parties and Service Providers
Quilligence will not share personal information collected from you with third parties for purposes other than those in support of our business operations and as needed to facilitate the reason for which you submitted it to us.  We may, from time to time, engage in contracts with third party service providers.  Such providers may be provided access to personal information in order to perform their contracted functions; in such instances, they will be contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of such information and not to use it for other purposes.

1.2.10.  Transfer of Business
Should we transfer some or all of our assets to one or more third parties as a result of a merger, acquisition, sale, reorganization, etc., personal information may be one of the assets transferred.

1.2.11.  Information Sharing and Onward Transfer
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties except to persons assessing our compliance with industry standards; our attorneys, accountants, and auditors; and as permitted or required by law.  We may transfer your personal information to, and access such personal information from, other countries in which we operate, including the United States.  Quilligence will take appropriate measures to protect information we transfer.

1.2.12.  Disclosures for Legal Reasons
We are permitted by law to disclose personal information about you to governmental agencies and other third parties as required by law or regulation, such as a subpoena or in response to court order.  We may also disclose personal information to respond to a law enforcement agency's request, when we determine such disclosure is appropriate to protect our legal rights, and in connection with investigations or efforts to prevent illegal activity or pertaining to public safety.

1.3.  LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

This Website may include hyperlinks to content on other websites.  Upon your clicking to another website, this privacy policy no longer continues to apply.  We encourage you to review the privacy policies of each website you visit.

1.5.  CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may modify this policy from time to time.  Any such modifications will be posted here.  If the changes are material, we will provide more prominent notice and/or notification.  We will identify each version of this Privacy Policy at the top of the page with its effective date.  Your continued use of the Website after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes; please check our Privacy Policy periodically for updates.
